April 2 & 3, 2011

 The sun came out, the forecast was good and we were off! A loop of Lake Lucerne seemed a perfect way to celebrate the beginning of spring. Majestic mountain backdrops, buttercup-filled meadows, terraces full of cheerful hikers and bikers and families grilling sausages on the lake shore were the order of the day. The only little hiccup was an 850-step connection between 2 dead ends on the shore circuit. Luckily we weren’t fully loaded!
